Will Benedict's "Pilgrimage" Boost "Israel's" Image or Destroy His Own?

On May 11, 2009 at Yad Vashem "Holocaust" Memorial Temple, Pope Benedict said "May the names of these victims never perish! May their suffering never be denied, belittled, or forgotten!" What a boon for the Israelis who need so desperately for the suffering they've caused so many Palestinians outside the gates of Yad Vashem to be minimized, denied and forgotten.

Or, will this shameful act result, rather, in Benedict sharing in counterfeit Israel's infamy as it should?

Benedict XVI in a yin yang embrace of Israeli President, terrorist, Shimon Peres, May 11, 2009

Let history record that while Gaza was still smoldering, Benedict XVI warmly embraced the Israelis, comforting and aiding them in their hasbara campaign calculated to make the world forget their horrible crimes.

What seems not to have been noticed by many is that when "Israel" removed its illegal settlements from Gaza a few years ago, it reduced these to rubble before pulling out. None of the Western media reported that no colonial power ever did such a thing before handing back the land to its rightful owners. So after years of illegal settlers on their land, the Gaza Palestinians had a massive pile of rubble to contend with.

CONTINUING IN PETER'S DENIAL, BENEDICT XVI CONCEALS THE HOLY NAME OF JESUS FROM THOSE WHO NEED HIM:

ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY AND HE DOES NOT ONCE MENTION THE HOLY NAME OF JESUS TO THOSE WHO NEED TO HEAR IT.

This is not the denial of Peter. It is the betrayal of Judas Iscariot. Only this time Judas kisses the Devil's own Pharisee instead of kissing Jesus. The betrayal is the same.

John, you are right. Pope Benedict XVI is continuing in the sad tradition of Peter's denial of Our Lord. There is no doubt that the Holy Father, like St. Peter, loves Jesus, yet he is clearly afraid to bear witness to Our Lord in front of the Jews. It's quite pathetic.

Toscano and Steve, clearly you go too far. Sedevacantism is a false solution to a real problem.

I am ashamed that Benedict XVI is a Catholic.

Safiyah,

How am I a hypocrite for refusing to believe that Christ himself would allow a false prophet of anti-Christ to reign as Pope? As a Catholic I will never accept such a thing. How does that make me someone who approves of baby-murdering blasphemers?

Temper your own remarks with charity and truth.

Someone said that the pope is just being pragmatic and that confrontation would serve no good .
Which is a load of garbage .

I would say that even a mischievious altar boy would feel morally compelled to tell the Israelis that they are a bunch of murderous devil thugs for the bloody fish in a barrel slaughter they carried out in Gaza .

A real pope would speak out !
