The 'Holocaust' Relics in the Sanctuary of Bergoglio's Cathedral

Buenos Aires Cathedral's 'Holocaust' relics

With Cardinal Bergoglio’s active support, the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Chapel, the main Roman Catholic Church in Argentina’s capital, erected a memorial to [the AMIA] bombing and to the victims of the Holocaust. Towards the rear of the main sanctuary, a large glass-enclosed case in a silver-wrought frame houses several Jewish artifacts, including a menorah, a Star of David, and sheets of prayer books rescued from Treblinka, Auschwitz and the Warsaw Ghetto.

The Holocaust memorial, known as the Commemorative Mural, is the only-such tribute to Holocaust victims in a Christian church, according to the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation. “I am moved,” said Baruch Tenembaum, founder of the Raoul Wallenberg Foundation, an Argentine Jew and longtime personal friend of Jorge Mario Bergoglio, Pope Francis I.

Temembaum, a pioneer of interreligious dialogue amongst Christians, Muslims and Jews since the 1960s, tells Aleteia, “I am very satisfied, because I believe that we will see, in terms of spirituality, a repetition of the what John XXIII did at the service of the Church and of the world.”

... “I have known him well since he was Auxiliary Bishop of Buenos Aires. He defended a memorial that was erected for the first time in a cathedral, dedicated to the victims of the Shoah by the Mutual Israli-Argentine Association” (“AMIA” in Spanish) ...

He participated like no other with everyone in interreligious encounters. He has many rabbi friends, and has published books together with rabbis. He went to many synagogues ... ("Jewish friend of Pope Francis: '[He] stood out for his closeness to minorities,” Aleteia, MArch 14, 2013)

There was an effort to have one of these 'Holocaust murals' installed at the Fatima shrine in Portugal.

Pope Francis' predecessor Archbishop of Buenos Aires reportedly hoped that these murals would be installed all over the world. He was buried at the foot of the one in the Buenos Aires Cathedral.

When will Christians quit buying into Jewish propaganda by referring to the sufferings of the Jews during WWII as a "holocaust"? A holocaust is a sacrifice pleasing to God, whereas the Jews are the enemies of God and Gods people. The Jews suffered what they did for their sins. I believe that what the Jews suffered during WWII was Divine retribution on the Jews for what they did to Christians in the revolutions of Europe, especially in the Russian revolution and under Communism.

These so called relics, original or massed produced in Israel to be insinuated every place possible? The Jews should be talking to the Muslims. The Catholic Hierarchy should be apologizing to the Muslims for Recognizing the illegal terrorist state Israel instead of apologizing to the Jews. For what, taking the Messiah as their own He that the Jews killed and continue to reject, disobey, think they can defy and defile...Catholics Come Home...

Thank you for giving us more truth about "our" new Pope.

Let us pray for each other that we fight the good fight and expose unrighteousness and untruth whereever we find it.

“and the light shines on in the darkness and darkness could not overcome it.”

Maurice, I believe that you should carefully and very, very patiently read this piece by Alan Dershowitz. It explains A LOT about how Francis, Benedict XVI and many other "popes". Specially his last paragraph, specially this words: "This should not be allowed to happen".
