dear Maurice Pinay. I've contacted four senators and four house members with politely appropriate but clear statements.
Will you M.P. or anyone go to
these websites: maannews.net or org. and presstv.com . I have been
going to those sites for sometime and sometimes left comments which were always published but for the
approximate past week my comments are not publish nor are other comments from the U.S. but previously were. The message box appears with one's a.k.a. and says
your comment has been successfully
sent. This is as it was before.
But now it seems in fact the comments are
not transmitted if they originate
from the U.S. Maybe some readers here can comment on if they are finding similar situations. Press tv is Iranian in English. Maan News
is Palestinian/English.

Press TV with my comments, selects and posts only the ones they like. Anytime I submit a posting that says that Dr. Steven Jones and Mr. Richard Gage have worked to delay 9-11 truth and justice, they choose to not post. I was polite and followed all the rules and just expressed my opinion.

So something is not right about Press TV. I hope it has not been taken over by the same people who are pushing for this unjust war on Syria.

dear Anonymous, Thank you for commenting on press tv. I continue to visit the site and try to figure out what's going on with comments. It seems there was an abrupt change. Comments are quite
direct and harsh about Israel. There was an article recently that seemed to indicate that Israel is interfering with them. And now there is new evidence that Israel
can in various ways monitor messaging from U.S. citizens. It is
unsettling. I am also trying to figure out why MaanNews seems a somewhat less open forum than a short time ago.

An interesting seminar they are going to have at Bellarmine University in October. I'm certain St. Robert isn't pleased. Didn't know there was a connection between Merton & Heschel.

I know this is off topic but thought it was important enough to post it an appropriate forum.

"I dare say that the Church has never been so well as it is today. The Church does not collapse: I am sure of it, I am sure of it!"

Meeting with Roman Clergy at the Lateran Basilica (Italian)

Looks like Pope Francis is boasting about how well off financially the Church is these days. I know he is a Jesuit who has chosen the name of El Poverello, (the poor one, St. Francis of Assissi), but this looks so very very bad to me.

No Catholic is supposed to think that material wealth somehow portends survival of the Church and "our Pope" seems to be trying to promote just that idea.
