Reform Congregation Nostalgic for Genocidal Racist Texts

The genocidal racial supremacism, pantheism, self-worship, sex magic, witchcraft, etc., of Kabbalah is making a comeback among Benedict's elder brothers of the Reformed persuasion who previously distanced themselves from some of the dark elements of Orthodox Judaism.

Scholars take separate paths into the mystic

by Debra Rubin
NJJN Bureau Chief/Middlesex

Rabbis from Orthodox and Reform backgrounds brought their insights into Jewish mysticism to a New Brunswick synagogue this month.

And while they may have started from very different places, they both arrived at a destination where those looking to rise above the material and ordinary could find resources in Jewish tradition.

Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz, the noted Israeli scholar perhaps best known for his translation of the Talmud into modern Hebrew and English, spoke Oct. 17 at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick on How To Live a Spiritual Life in a Materialistic Time.

Rabbi Lawrence Kushner, author of a series of influential books on Jewish mysticism and spirituality, spoke Oct. 22 on Kabbalah: A Reform Approach, reading passages from his book Kabbalah: A Love Story ...

... "Real Kabala is when you use your study of Kabala to heal the divine," said Kushner, the scholar-in-residence at Congregation Emanu-El of San Francisco and visiting professor of Jewish spirituality at the Graduate Theological University in Berkeley ...

Those who for centuries performed mitzvot only for the sake of performing a mitzvot were, in essence, acting as "God"s chiropractors," and expecting God to reply, "Thanks, I needed that," he said.

Kushner said the practice of continually dissecting and "recreating ourselves" through the study of sacred texts is "an enterprise unique to Judaism."

The master text of Kabala is the Zohar, a book once so revered that "for 400 years more Jews could quote Zohar than Talmud," said Kushner.

Kabala, with its mystical overtones, bears a similarity to Eastern theology with its emphasis on the feminine dimension of the divine and infusion of divine presence into everyday events.

The erotic yearning that can be found on the Zohar"s pages, explained Kushner, can be interpreted as: "It makes me happier to do what my lover wants than what I want. In loving someone else, we have a heightened sense of self."

Like Kushner, Steinsaltz also drew a connection between human action and divine reaction.

"Life is identical with the divine," he said ...

"Far Right" Gulled by Shape-Shifting Rabbi

Rabbi Sacks moves to the coagula stage of the solvae et coagula process and the dumb, transmuted goyim sing his praises on cue. It was the rabbis and their Masonic shabbat goys who brought the Muslim golem to Europe. Now they intend for white, European-descended, former Christians to be their golem against the "Muslim threat" of their creation. Such suckers. Your dark-age peasant forefathers had infinitely greater wisdom than the most highly "educated" of your lot. It was in opposition to the rabbis that Western Civilization was built, not with them. Rabbi Sacks hasn't given up his backwards, tribal tradition, but you're divorced from your great tradition and all of the wisdom inherent to it. If you continue in such a state your failure is guaranteed.

Far right praises British chief rabbi

Published: 10/29/2007

A new book by Britain's chief rabbi has received accolades from the far right for his views on multiculturalism.

In "The Home We Build Together: Recreating Society," released on Oct. 25, Rabbi Sir Jonathan Sacks writes that multiculturalism encourages individual ethnic groups to define themselves as victims and has led to segregation instead of integration.

After excerpts of the book were printed in the London Times, message boards for far right groups such as Stormfront White Nationalist Community included comments saying that Sacks' work was helping them out "big time" even though he was a Jew.

Nick Griffin, leader of the British National Party, Britain's most mainstream and organized far-right political party, called the book "important and welcome."

But London's Deputy Mayor Nicky Gavron, a strong supporter of Britain's Jewish community, criticized the work, saying that attacks on multiculturalism feed on ignorance about other cultures and religious faiths, which can lead to intolerance. Other human rights groups have accused the chief rabbi of making the statements merely to garner publicity for the book.

In his defense, Sacks told the Jewish News in London that he saw multiculturalism as a form of separation and stressed that he was proposing the creation of a unifying culture, calling for a "national Britishness day."

Judaic B'nai B'rith Co-Author of Vatican II Document, Nostra Aetate Dead

Ernst Ehrlich, 86; Jewish Religious Philosopher

GENEVA -- Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich, a Jewish religious philosopher who escaped the Nazis and became a European bridge builder between Christians and Jews, has died. He was 86.

Ehrlich died Sunday at his home in Riehen, a suburb of Basel, according to the family notice in Swiss newspapers.

The Berlin-born Ehrlich studied at the Higher Institute for Jewish Studies, Rabbi Leo Baeck's rabbinical seminary, until the Nazis closed it in 1942.

The Nazis forced him into labor until he found shelter with a Berlin couple and was smuggled into Switzerland.

He obtained his doctorate at Basel and later taught at universities in Switzerland and Germany. From 1961 to 1994, he was European director of the Independent Order of B'nai B'rith, founded in New York in 1843.

At the Second Vatican Council in 1965, he served as adviser to German Cardinal Augustin Bea in preparing "Nostra Aetate," a key document on Roman Catholic-Jewish relations.

Rabbi Walter Homolka, rector of Abraham Geiger College in Potsdam, Germany, eulogized Ehrlich as being "the bridge to Jewish heritage before the Holocaust" and an important liberal thinker.

Ehrlich was the author of several books on Judaism and was credited by the Free University of Berlin with "influencing generations of scientists."

Ehrlich is survived by his wife and a daughter.

From The Times of London:

... As a pioneer of inter-religious dialogue, Ehrlich knew and worked with some of the most influential Roman Catholics of the Second Vatican Council. In 1965 he was one of Cardinal Augustin Bea's advisers in the preparation of Nostra aetate, the document which helped to establish a fresh start in Judeo-Catholic relations. Most importantly, it rejected the age-old accusation that the Jews were responsible for the death of Christ. With the Swiss cardinal, Dr Franz König, he published a document which outlined what they saw as the shared future between Christians and Jews: Die Juden und Christen haben eine Zukunft became another key work of inter- religious dialogue. Ehrlich was also a close friend of the French cardinal and convert from Judaism, Jean-Marie Lustiger (obituary, August 9, 2007).

Both men worked tirelessly on improving relations between their respective faiths, and the fact that both men had lost their mothers in Auschwitz drew them even closer together.

In 2000 Ehrlich spoke out vocally against the proposed beatification of Pope Pius IX, whose anti-Semitism he condemned. He argued that such a move would undo the work that had been invested in improving the relationship between Roman Catholicism and Judaism ...

The B'nai B'rith (Judaic Freemasonry) member, Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich was an expert at the fourth annual meeting of the International Catholic/Jewish Liaison Committee in Rome on January 7-10, 1975:

and also at the 17th meeting of the International Catholic-Jewish Liaison Committee on May 1-3, 2001 in New York City, the main theme of which was “Repentance and Reconciliation”:

"... if one is to judge by the Council vote of 1964 [in confirmation of Nostra Aetate], the desiderata of Jules Isaac, the B'nai B'rith and the World Jewish Congress weighed heavier in the minds of the 1,300 bishops and Council fathers than the Evangelists, than St. Augustine, St. John Chrysostom, St. Gregory the Great--and practically all of the doctors of the Church and all the Popes--who elaborated the doctrine which is today denounced by Jules Isaac and others as particularly harmful." How to Market Saint JPII

'Trippy' video in push to canonise Pope

* Ben Dowell
* Guardian Unlimited
* Thursday October 25 2007

... The Vatican's record label is orchestrating an online campaign to push a DVD celebrating the life of the late Pope John Paul II to move public opinion in favour of canonising him, MediaGuardian.co.uk can reveal.

The release of the DVD, which is being produced by St Paul Multimedia, the Vatican's record label, will be accompanied by a website, www.santosubitoonline.com, on which the faithful will be encouraged to register their support for his sainthood.

Santo Subito means "Make him a saint quickly" ...

"What better way to do it than by a music film like this and using the internet to push his canonisation?"

The DVD and online campaign are aimed at appealing directly to the young and the choice of British composer Simon Boswell was also a factor, according to Vatican sources.

His work features digitally enhanced recordings of John Paul II's voice alongside "trance-like drum grooves" and "trippy" images of the late Pontiff.

It is also a first for the Vatican because it has allowed Boswell to work musically with the Pope's voice, which is the copyright of the church, in some case altering its rhythms.

"The images, celebrating many moments from his life, have been digitally enhanced and are quite cutting edge," said Boswell, the composer of innovative soundtracks for films such as Hardware, Shallow Grave and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

On the DVD John Paul II is heard singing on at least two tracks. In one section he is heard recalling Isaiah's cry to "Go up on a high mountain" and to "Shout without fear" accompanied by images of the Pope not out of place in a rave video and also the kind of music not normally associated with the Catholic liturgy.

In another section of the DVD, John Paul's visit to the Auschwitz concentration camp is accompanied by a piece for solo guitar and strings and featuring his cry, "No more war".

The Pope DVD is released worldwide next month by Universal Video. Record company insiders say they hope to sell many millions of copies.

"They are marketing the Pope with the same verve that they would market any popular artist," one insider said.

The DVD release is also expected to be followed by a series of stadium concerts around the world, involving a full orchestra conducted by Boswell and featuring John Paul II as a virtual presence on a large screen. The first concert will be held in Milan near the city's cathedral ...

Religious Leaders are Playing a Game

Sant'Egidio Interfaith Summit Press Photo featuring tessellated floor, October 21, 2007 on the 21st anniversary of the Assisi event

This interreligious summit was organized by a lay "Catholic" organization called Sant'Egidio.

The Sant'Egidio summits are meant to carry on the "spirit of Assisi" and were launched 21 years ago by John Paul II in the birthplace of Saint Francis.

The first summit, dubbed a World Day of Prayer for Peace, was attended by the Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa and other religious leaders.

The Sant'Egidio organization uses as it's symbol the dove with an olive branch in it's mouth with a rainbow background. A stylized adaptation of that image was created as a logo for the event:

In saner times this image would evoke the Biblical story of Noah and the Ark, but these are insane times where such an image is intended to represent the Talmudic 'Noahide' Laws.

In 2001 Rabbi David Rosen (who has since been knighted by Benedict XVI), speaking at the at the 2001 Sant'Egidio Summit, waxed ecumenical on the Noahide Laws. See:

"God's Chosen" Cavemen

Where are the CNN documentaries; the global outrage and intervention programs for liberating Orthodox Judaic women from this tyrannical, backwards racket? Is Judaic degradation of women somehow less reprehensible than that of the Taliban? I say much more so. Meat from the butcher or fish from the fishmonger--that's the status of the woman in Orthodox Judaism (Babylonian Talmud, tractate Nedarim 20b).

5 Haredi men beat woman who refused to move to back of bus

By Jonathan Lis, Haaretz Correspondent

Five assailants believed to be Ultra-Orthodox Jews assaulted a woman and an Israel Defense Forces soldier Sunday for sitting next to each other on a bus bound for Beit Shemesh, near Jerusalem.

The incident began when the five men asked the religious woman to move to the back of the bus to prevent males and females from sitting together in public. When she refused, they beat her and the male soldier who sat next to her.

Police forces that arrived at the scene to arrest the men were attacked by dozens of ultra-Orthodox men who punctured the tires of their vehicles, allowing the assailants to escape.

World Jewish Congress at Vatican

WJC President Ron Lauder, Benedict XVI, WJC Secratary-General Michael Schneider

As the newly elected President of the World Jewish Congress, it is appropriate that one of my first official visits in this capacity should be to the Vatican ... We hope that the meeting of Cardinals and Rabbis held in New York some years ago will be repeated and become a regular part of our common agenda. (Ron Lauder, World Jewish Congress President, Addressing Vatican assembly, Oct. 6, 2007)

The meeting between cardinals and rabbis which Ron Lauder references above--which he hopes will become a regular part of the Vatican-Judaic common agenda--was a visit to NY yeshivas (Talmud schools) where cardinals studied Talmud with rabbis and their students. That event is documented at the following links:

"Elder Brother" Rabbis: Catholicism is Idolatry, But Buddhism and Islam are Not

Here is an excerpt from the Jerusalem Post's Q&A with Rabbi Chaim Brovender in which the good rabbi explains that burning incense to a Buddha statue is not idolatry but entering a Catholic church is "problematic". The term Avoda Zara means "idolatry":

Q: I was recently on a business trip, and while I found the city to be very nice etc., I am a bit concerned. I visited an Asian restaurant, not owned by Jews, (Under the local Rabbis) There seemed to be active idolatry taking place. There was a statue of Buddha, where they had placed a large bowl of oranges and burning incense right in the entrance to the place. At the end of the meal I was served oranges (Possibly ones that were previously in front of Buddha) Is this place considered a "Bais Avodah Zorah" ? And can a Jew eat there?

A: Avoda Zara should certainly be avoided. For that reason going into a Catholic church (perhaps real idolatry) is problematic. However, Buddism is different. There the reference is to a great religious teacher called "the enlightened one". It is hard to imagine why this might be called Avoda Zara. (Ask the rabbi, Jerusalem Post, Rabbi Chaim Brovender, Aug. 21, 2007)

Some may recall that during Cardinal Lustiger's funeral recently one commentator noted that the Conservative and Orthodox rabbis in attendance would not enter the Cathedral:

Inside the cathedral a special area was reserved in the front rows for "the Jewish Community." France's leading Reform rabbi, Daniel Fahri, was there with his wife, but no Conservative or Orthodox rabbi attended. "They wouldn't step foot in here," a friend confided to me ...

This is based upon the ruling of the most authoritative "sage" of Judaism, Moses Maimonides:

"The Christians are idolaters, and Sunday is their holiday..." (Maimonides, Mishneh Torah, Avodah Zorah, 9;4)

“The Christians are worshipers of Avodah Zarah” (Maimonides, Mishneh Torah, Ma'akhalot Assurot, 11:7)

It may interest "Judeo-Christians" to know that while "elder brother" Maimonides strictly maintained Christians to be idolaters, he ruled that Muslims are not idolators:

"These Muslims [Ishmaelim] are not in any way idolators. [Idolatry] has already been removed from their mouths and their hearts, and they unify G-d in the appropriate manner without any admixture [of idolatrous beliefs]." (Maimonides, Responsa, 448)

However, this should not be taken to mean that Islam should be tolerated according to Maimonides. In fact, Maimonides completely forbids Islam under Judaic rule (Mishneh Torah, Hilchot Melachim 8;11). Christians and Muslims would be forced to accept the Talmudic religion for goys, the "Noahide Laws." Christians who uphold the Trinity and the Divinity of Christ would be executed:

"... a gentile who worships false gods is liable, [for the death penalty] provided he worships them in the accepted manner. A gentile is executed for every type of foreign worship which a Jewish court would consider worthy of capital punishment." (Maimonides, Mishneh Torah, Hilchot Melachim 11)

I hope that this may shed some light upon the monstrous terms "Judeo-Christian tradition," and "elder brothers in the faith" and the crazy notion that "Israel" is a bulwark against the decline of Christian civilization.

Vatican to Move Rabbinic Subversion Beyond the Clergy and Into the Pews

Xavier University Representatives to Attend Catholic-Jewish Relations Conference at Vatican
10/16/2007 - PST

Catholic PRWire

CINCINNATI, OH, OCTOBER 16, 2007 - Xavier University President Michael J. Graham, S.J., and Rabbi Abie Ingber, director for Hillel at Xavier, along with a group of Xavier representatives will travel to Rome to attend the First Lay Conference on Catholic-Jewish relations at the Vatican, October 21-25.

The other members of the Xavier group include: James Buchanan, director for Edward B. Brueggeman Center for Dialogue; Art Shriberg, professor of management and entrepreneurship; Jewish student Michael Loban; and Catholic student Maggie Meyer.

The conference’s goal, Ingber says, is to move bridge-building beyond the clergy and “into the pews.” The discussion will revolve around identifying areas of “commonality and divide” between the traditions. Lay leaders from 18 U.S. cities will attend, hopefully laying the groundwork for a network to share ideas and programming. Participants will also meet with high-ranking Church officials at the Vatican to create a greater understanding of issues between the two faiths.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us at Xavier, especially our students,” said Graham. “Exploring and discussing the many aspects of our two traditions at such a grassroots level is so important for our future as people of faith.”

“Our hope is we can come back to the U.S. and continue these relationships and perhaps even expand it to include lay leaders from the Muslim community,” Ingber says. “If you get good at bridge building, there are lots of rivers to cross.”

The conference is sponsored by the Interreligious Information Center (IIC) of which Ingber is vice president. Through research, academic exchanges, educational programs, media outreach, IIC develops projects and activities to enhance greater understanding of faiths and religion in our society. IIC works will all major faith groups.

Beyond the dialogue, the group will present a Menorah to Pope Benedict. The Menorah is a replica of one Ingber helped install at the Vatican in observance of Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) in 1999. Replicas have also been presented to the late Pope John Paul II and Father Graham. The group will also meet with Cardinal Walter Kasper, president of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity and Jerzy Kluger, Pope John Paul II’s closest Jewish friend. They also plan to visit the Great Synagogue of Rome.

St. Thomas Aquinas Contra Cardinal George on Offending "the Jews"

Cardinal George, interviewed in the National Catholic Reporter Oct. 4, 2007, speaks of today's fake Jews calling them "ancestors in the faith" and claiming that Christians cannot possibly offend them:

" ... the intention is to be sure that our prayers are not offensive to the Jewish people who are our ancestors in the faith. We can't possibly insult them in our liturgy."

Speaking of true ethnic Jews of Christ's time, St. Thomas responds:

Article 2. Whether Christ should have preached to the Jews without offending them?

... On the contrary, It was foretold (Isaiah 8:14) that Christ would be "for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offense to the two houses of Israel."

I answer that, The salvation of the multitude is to be preferred to the peace of any individuals whatsoever. Consequently, when certain ones, by their perverseness, hinder the salvation of the multitude, the preacher and the teacher should not fear to offend those men, in order that he may insure the salvation of the multitude. Now the Scribes and Pharisees and the princes of the Jews were by their malice a considerable hindrance to the salvation of the people, both because they opposed themselves to Christ's doctrine, which was the only way to salvation, and because their evil ways corrupted the morals of the people. For which reason our Lord, undeterred by their taking offense, publicly taught the truth which they hated, and condemned their vices. Hence we read (Matthew 15:12,14) that when the disciples of our Lord said: "Dost Thou know that the Pharisees, when they heard this word, were scandalized?" He answered: "Let them alone: they are blind and leaders of the blind; and if the blind lead the blind, both fall into the pit."

... By publicly reproving the Scribes and Pharisees, Christ promoted rather than hindered the effect of His teaching. Because when the people came to know the vices of those men, they were less inclined to be prejudiced against Christ by hearing what was said of Him by the Scribes and Pharisees, who were ever withstanding His doctrine.

If the Gospel is not clear enough, St. Thomas Aquinas reveals with stunning clarity the falsehood that Cardinal George promotes. And if true ethnic Jews are not above reproach, as St. Thomas clarifies, what immunity from offense is due to those who say they are Jews and are not and do lie?

Kabbalist War Prophesy

I missed this article when it first appeared on July 22 of this year. The article states that Zionist war prophesies were revealed in part by autistic children! I suppose they're at least as coherent as John Hagee. There is an occult tradition of fascination with mentally insane persons who are perceived to have great psychic powers.

Kabbalists: Great, Miraculous War Coming

(IsraelNN.com) A report Saturday night quoted several important Kabbalists, as well as senior Ashkenazic Hareidi Rabbis, as saying that a major war would take place in Israel “very soon.” The reports quoted senior Hareidi Rabbi Baruch Avraham Rakovsky, who said that during a recent gathering where senior Kabbalists discussed important issues of the day, it was revealed through a variety of means – including communication with autistic children - that a major war was in the offing. However, great “open miracles, such as those that occurred when the Jews left Egypt,” would take place. The events they were referring to, they said, would clearly be understood as miracles, even to those who were not expert in Kabbalistic studies.

The Kabbalists did not reveal the specific details on the war, but said that Iran would be involved. Already, they said, Hashem was performing miracles: During the past five times that Iranian President Ahmadinejad threatened Israel, they said, major natural catastrophes, such as earthquakes, occured a short time afterwards.

Other Hareidi leaders last week told their students similar messages, including HaRav Chaim Cohen (“HaChalvan”), who said that Israel was in a position to quickly destroy its enemies, and HaRav Chaim Kanievsky, who said that “Hashem will soon perform great miracles for the Jewish people.”

The World's Most Powerful Victims

Jewish power dominates at 'Vanity Fair'

Jerusalem Post, Oct 11, 2007 23:40

It's a list of "the world's most powerful people," 100 of the bankers and media moguls, publishers and image makers who shape the lives of billions. It's an exclusive, insular club, one whose influence stretches around the globe but is concentrated strategically in the highest corridors of power.

More than half its members, at least by one count, are Jewish.

It's a list, in other words, that would have made earlier generations of Jews jump out of their skins, calling attention, as it does, to their disproportionate influence in finance and the media. Making matters worse, in the eyes of many, would no doubt be the identity of the group behind the list - not a pack of fringe anti-Semites but one of the most mainstream, glamorous publications on the newsstands.

Yet the list doesn't appear to have generated concern so far, instead drawing expressions of satisfaction and pride from the lone Jewish commentator who's responded in writing.

Published between ads for Chanel and Prada, Dior and Yves Saint Laurent, it's the 2007 version of "The Vanity Fair 100," the glossy American magazine's annual October ranking of the planet's most important people. Populated by a Cohen and a Rothschild, a Bloomberg and a Perelman, the list would seem to conform to all the traditional stereotypes about areas of Jewish overrepresentation.

Joseph Aaron, the editor of The Chicago Jewish News, thinks it's a list his readers should "feel very, very good about" ...

Papal Rabbi-Knight David Rosen Wants to Change What Christians Believe About the Pharisees

Rabbi Rosen Presents his Gospel mocking book to Benedict XVI

Christ called the Pharisees "children of hell." But what did He know ... Note that this man, Rabbi David Rosen who happily identifies himself as a Pharisee, also has had the title "papal knight" bestowed upon him by Benedict XVI. And note that Rabbi David Rosen is one of the signers of the document produced by the joint committee of the Papal Commission for Religious Relations with the Jews and the Chief Rabbinate of "Israel" which claims a Biblical basis for the Talmudic "Noahide Laws" documented HERE.

... [Rabbi David] Rosen kept talking about Pharisees in a complimentary way. Kendall finally said, "Rabbi Rosen, I almost get the impression that you're a Pharisee and proud of it." Rosen replied, "You're exactly right!" That led to more conversations, and a book ...

Rosen: My hope would be that Christians would associate Pharisee with a good Jew, one who lives in the sense of the divine presence and seeks to fulfill the divine Word and will in his or her daily life. But I think we've got too many centuries of negative indoctrination.

So what Rosen is saying is that he wants Christians to believe exactly the opposite of what the Gospel teaches about the Pharisees. Rosen goes on to call Jesus a Pharisee and then creates a false dilemma between "good" Pharisees who uphold the Pharisaic tradition and "bad" Pharisees who fall short of what he fancies to be the lofty ideals of the Pharisaic tradition:

... I believe that Jesus was a Pharisee who knew that there were wonderful Pharisees around, probably the majority, but there were some who were actually desecrating the name, the message, and the tradition they were meant to be the custodians of.

One wonders where this "majority" of "good Pharisees" was during Christ's apprehension by, and trial before the Sanhedrin and subsequent execution. And one wonders further where that "majority" of "good Pharisees" was when the Pharisees wrote in their Talmud that Christ deserved to be executed.

And dear Rabbi Rosen, ... excuse me, dear Pharisee Rosen, I seem to recall that it was precisely the Pharisaic tradition itself that Christ condemned so repeatedly and so harshly; the tradition which He said makes void the Word of God which the Pharisees should have been the custodians of but were not; the tradition that you uphold and which you disingenuously attempt to makeover. You may as well attempt to sell me on the notion that the sky is red, or that 2+2=3, or that rabbis are honest men of good will ...

For 40 years, bishop has fostered Catholic-Jewish dialogue and trust

Friday, October 12, 2007

ALBANY -- It seemed entirely natural that Bernice "Bunny" Kahn used to refer to Bishop Howard J. Hubbard of the Albany Roman Catholic Diocese as "our bishop."

It didn't matter that she was Jewish, a supporter of Jewish causes and a member of both Congregation Ohav Shalom and Temple Israel.

Kahn, who died last year, was co-chairwoman of the Jewish-Catholic Dialogue Committee, an interfaith group that has been around for nearly four decades and has enjoyed Hubbard's imprimatur.

"The reason we got started and are still going strong is because of Bishop Hubbard's support," said committee co-chairwoman Joan Dunham, a parishioner of St. Madeleine Sophie Church in Guilderland and an organizer of a workshop this Sunday focusing on Christian and Jews in dialogue.

At Sunday's event, the Capital District Board of Rabbis will honor Hubbard for his 40-year commitment to fostering the Jewish-Catholic dialogue.

The dialogue committee took root in 1986 at an interfaith prayer service entitled "From Fear to Friendship" that was led by Hubbard and drew 1,200 people to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

Recalled Dunham: "Bishop Hubbard apologized for the persecution of Jews by the Catholic Church. It was so moving that people wept and it became a turning point for the dialogue in this region."

As a result, the Capital Region is considered one of the best places in the country when it comes to Jewish-Catholic relations, according to educators from across the United States with whom Dunham has corresponded.

"The only other place that might be better is Los Angeles," Dunham said ...

The Albany Roman Catholic Diocese is sending Dunham and Kathleen Duff, co-chairwomen of the dialogue committee, to the Vatican next week for a conference on Jewish-Catholic dialogue.

"That's another example of Bishop Hubbard's commitment to this issue," Dunham said.

I don't recall Wastler expressing any concern regarding the well-organized and committed faithful "few" of the Zionist lobby who throw the results of a system meant to reflect the sentiments of "the many," however.

The Israeli Gift that Keeps Giving

Briton killed while clearing IDF cluster bombs in southern Lebanon

By Reuters

A British man was killed on Thursday while clearing cluster bombs dropped on southern Lebanon by Israel ... last year, a United Nations spokeswoman said.

He was the 13th person to be killed during work to clear unexploded ordinance [dropped by the Israelis] in July and August, 2006, said Dalya Farran of the United Nations Mine Action Coordination Centre (UNMACC) in Lebanon ...

Cluster bombs had also killed a six-year-old boy and a shepherd in the same area over the last week, the sources said.

Farran said 23 civilians [have] been killed by unexploded ordinance, mostly cluster bombs ...

Alisa Rosenbaum (stage name: Ayn Rand)'s "Philosophy" for the Dumb Goyim Gets a Boost

Atlas Shrugs Again

Marc E. Babej and Tim Pollak 09.28.07, 6:00 AM ET

... The autobiography of former Rand acolyte Alan Greenspan, in which he credits her for his development, just got published with big fanfare. In recent weeks, both The New York Times and The L.A. Times have run articles about her work. Atlas Shrugged has been featured prominently in a recent episode of AMC's hit series Mad Men. A movie version of the book, starring Angelina Jolie in the main role, is slated for release next year.

Meanwhile, sales of Ayn Rand titles have tripled since the early 1990s--in fact, more are being sold now than at any time in history. Atlas Shrugged sales on Amazon in the first nine months of this year are already almost double the total for 2006. As of this writing, Atlas ranks 124th on Amazon's sales charts. Compare that to The Da Vinci Code at 2,587.

Objectivism is also making inroads in education and academia. Under the leadership of Executive Director Yaron Brook, the Ayn Rand Institute budget has more than tripled since 2000, to over $7 million. Thanks in large part to book donations by ARI, next school year more than a million kids will be reading Ayn Rand in high school.

Rand, an ardent advocate of rational egoism and capitalism, might have been the bane of academics in her lifetime, but now objectivism is taught at more than 30 universities, with fellowships at several leading philosophy departments. Next year, ARI plans to enter the Washington, D.C., think tank world with a center devoted to the advocacy of individual freedom and capitalism ...

Angelina Jolie to Star in Ayn Rand's 'Atlas Shrugged'
September 22, 2006

Angelina Jolie will star in the movie adaptation of Atlas Shrugged, the ambitious 1,100-page novel by Russian-born [Judaic] American writer and philosopher Ayn Rand [Alisa Rosenbaum], Variety reported yesterday.

Rand, who also wrote the novels Anthem and The Fountainhead , which was made into a movie in 1949, was also known for her Objectivist philosophies, which she developed and included in many of her books, including Atlas Shrugged.

According to the website for the Ayn Rand Institute, the basis of Objectivism is “Existence exists—and the act of grasping that statement implies two corollary axioms: that something exists which one perceives and that one exists possessing consciousness, consciousness being the faculty of perceiving that which exists.” “The Collective” was a group of close confidants, students, and proponents of Rand and Objectivism. Members of The Collective established the Ayn Rand Institute and continue to spread Objectivism, the way Rand did in the ‘60s and ‘70s with her own monthly magazine, The Objectivist, in which she published essays about her beliefs.

World Jewish Congress Delegation Meets Benedict XVI at Vatican

The WJC is pressing the Vatican to punish those who uphold 2000 years of Church teaching on Judaism.

Leader of World Jewish Congress Thanks Pope

Notes 4 Decades of Progress in Relationship

VATICAN CITY, OCT. 9, 2007 (Zenit.org).- The president of the World Jewish Congress thanked Benedict XVI for everything he has done for the Jewish people over the past decades.

Ronald Lauder met with the Pope on Monday, accompanied by Michael Schneider, secretary-general of the World Jewish Congress.

The Jewish leaders' talk with the Holy Father focused on "interreligious dialogue and on anti-Semitism in a number of European countries," according to a press release issued by the congress. The Pontiff said that the issue of Catholic-Jewish relations was very close to his heart.

According to the press release, "Lauder said that the repeated anti-Semitic statements by the Polish priest Tadeusz Rydzyk, owner of the ultraconservative Catholic station Radio Maryja, should not be tolerated any more."

Lauder, the son of Estée Lauder and a former U.S. ambassador to Austria, called on the Pontiff to take strong action against those in the Church who want to do damage to what the press release called a "close and positive relationship between Christians and Jews."

The Jewish leaders also spoke of the possibility of joint initiatives on social welfare issues in poorer countries. They further discussed the importance of dialogue with moderate Muslims in order to ensure a peaceful future.

They emphasized the need to work together to strengthen further the relationship between the Jewish people and the Holy See. "We have made such great progress over the last four decades that it should be possible to work even more closely together," Lauder pointed out.

On Sunday evening, Lauder and Schneider hosted a dinner attended by a number of cardinals, ambassadors to the Vatican and officials engaged in interreligious dialogue.

"Anti-Semitic statements by the Polish priest Tadeusz Rydzyk, owner of the ultra-conservative Catholic station Radio Maryja should not be tolerated any more," Lauder told the Pope. Radio Maryja and the affiliated television station Trwam are watched and listened to by millions of Poles.

The delegates included WJC President Ronald S. Lauder, WJC Secretary-General Michael Schneider and WJC Deputy Secretary-General Dr. Maram Stern. The WJC visit to Vatican City included a dinner on Sunday evening hosted by Lauder and Schneider, which was attended by cardinals, ambassadors to the Vatican, and other officials. On Monday, the WJC representatives met in private with Pope Benedict.

In addition, the WJC delegates discussed with the Catholic leader the threat posed to the Jewish people, Israel and the West by the Islamic Republic of Iran ...

... Lauder then invited Pope Benedict to host a "joint event" when a Vatican delegation visits the United States next year.

Cardinal George Induces the Double Mind

Cardinal George of Chicago Diocese was recently interviewed by kosher-Catholic commentator John L. Allen, Jr. The prayer for the conversion of the Jews from the Good Friday liturgy of the 1962 missal naturally came up. George's response was a remarkable piece of double-speak. Most will likely be struck by the Cardinal's "tough talk" against rabbinic texts which mockingly call Jesus Christ a bastard. But let's take a look at how he prefaces that comment. Here is the statement in context with my comments interspersed:

Of course [the prayer for the conversion of the Jews from the Good Friday liturgy in the 1962 missal can be changed], and I suspect it probably will be, because the intention is to be sure that our prayers are not offensive to the Jewish people who are our ancestors in the faith.

So then, the people who Cardinal George is about to say mocks our Lord, calling Him a bastard, are here identified as our "ancestors in the faith." This is patent nonsense. Our ancestors in the faith are the Old Testament prophets. The "ancestors in the faith" that George speaks of here are spiritually descended of the Pharisees who persecuted our spiritual ancestors and our Lord, Jesus Christ. Benedict XVI said as much himself HERE. And Benedict's favorite rabbi, Jacob Neusner has made the same fact amply clear HERE.

Not content to let that whopper stand alone, George continues:

We can't possibly insult them in our liturgy.

And what, exactly, from the Church canon does George draw this foolish notion from? Is he familiar with the Old Testament's myriad of harsh chastisements of the true Israelites for their constant falls into idolatry? Is he aware of Christ's chastisements of the true Judeans throughout the Gospel? Is he aware of St. Stephen's litany of chastisements, and those of the Apostles, the Church Fathers, Church Doctors, Saints and popes for over 1900 years? Of course he is, but he must think that you and I are not. And it seems to me that if the true Jews weren't above reproach from Christ and the Apostles, these fake "Jews" that George speaks of are certainly not above reproach either.

But this is putting aside the fact that a Christian prayer for the conversion of a non-believer is not an insult in any way. Only in the twisted minds of self-worshiping Talmudists who believe they're saved by their Khazar ethnicity and in the minds of their philo-Judaic dupes is a prayer perceived to be an insult.

And it's not just the Good Friday prayer that they perceive to be insulting. The Gospel is insulting to them, the prophet Isaiah is insulting to them, the writings of the Church Fathers, the saints and popes and Church councils are insulting to them as well. Is it also true that "we can't possibly insult the 'Jews'" with our Scripture and the rest of our Church canon and Church tradition in addition to our liturgy? Why would the line be drawn only at the liturgy? Indeed, many of these things have been changed already and the 2008 synod has it's sights set on Scripture and scriptural exegesis.

Cardinal George is often credited for his intellect, so I will assume that he is well aware of the logical end to his reasoning. George continues:

Not that any group has a veto on anybody's prayers ...

But it seems that "Jewish" organizations do, in fact, have veto power over Catholic prayers. What is all of this controversy about in the first place? It wasn't due to an outcry among Catholics.

... because you can go through Jewish texts and find material that is offensive to us.

You're telling me? Where have you been?

But if we're interested in keeping the dialogue strong, and we have to be ...

What is this ridiculous notion based upon? Where in the Catholic canon does it state that strong dialog must be maintained between Catholic prelates and Judaic power organizations?

... we should be very cautious about any prayer that they find insulting.

Yes. We should be VERY cautious because they seek to eradicate everything that insults them and they're insulted by our religion in it's totality. I promise anyone who seeks to accommodate "the Jews" by changing everything that insults them, your work will never end.

'They,' however, is a big tent. What my Jewish rabbi friend down the block finds insulting is different from what Abraham Foxman [national director of the Anti-Defamation League] finds insulting.

There's the dialectic again. Just because Foxman is a lunatic doesn't make the rabbis reasonable. Show me an Orthodox rabbi who says he thinks Christians should be left alone and I'll show you a liar.

Also, it does work both ways. Maybe this is an opening to say, 'Would you care to look at some of the Talmudic literature's description of Jesus as a bastard, and so on, and maybe make a few changes in some of that?'

What a joke! Haven't we seen that charade already? The rabbis will change their Christ mocking tradition at the request of "the goyim"? You think that a tradition based upon opposition to Christ will stop mocking Christ? 800 years of forced censorship and self-censorship hasn't dampened Judaism's extreme hatred for Jesus Christ in the slightest. They might even censor the texts for show but the tradition remains. Get out of here with that idiocy.

And again, this is beside the fact that there is no parity whatsoever between Christians praying for the salvation of the souls of the "Jews" and the Judaic texts that mock the Savior of Christianity calling Him a bastard, pervert, magician, idolator who led Israel astray, who deserved to be executed and is suffering eternal punishment in boiling excrement for chastising the Pharisees. To suggest that there is some equivalence between the two is lower than a card trick or shell game.

Who buys this trash?

The Vatican has recently entered a new stage of double-mind inducement in which it openly states that rabbinic Judaism is descended from the Pharisees who were Christ's enemies and persecutors but that those who uphold rabbinic Judaism are our "elder brothers in the faith"; where it openly states that the rabbis blaspheme and mock our Lord but that they are our "ancestors in the faith" and we mustn't "insult" them by praying for them. Who would buy into this besides hypnotics and the mentally retarded?

More Warmongering from Bush and Cheney's Warmongering Court "Jew," David Wurmser

What an amazing misuse of the collective "we."

US 'must break Iran and Syria regimes'

By Toby Harnden in Washington
Last Updated: 2:09am BST 05/10/2007

America should seize every opportunity to force regime change in Syria and Iran, a former senior adviser to the White House has urged.

"We need to do everything possible to destabilise the Syrian regime and exploit every single moment they strategically overstep," said David Wurmser, who recently resigned after four years as Vice President Dick Cheney's Middle East adviser.

"That would include the willingness to escalate as far as we need to go to topple the regime if necessary." He said that an end to Baathist rule in Damascus could trigger a domino effect that would then bring down the Teheran regime.

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, the first since he left government, he argued that the United States had to be prepared to attack both Syria and Iran to prevent the spread of Islamic fundamentalism and nuclear proliferation in the Middle East that could result in a much wider war.

Mr Wurmser, 46, a leading neo-conservative who has played a pivotal role in the Bush administration since the September 11th attacks, said that diplomacy would fail to stop Iran becoming a nuclear power. Overthrowing Teheran's theocratic regime should therefore be a top US priority.

... Limited strikes against Iranian nuclear targets would be useless, Mr Wurmser said. ... "If we start shooting, we must be prepared to fire the last shot. Don't shoot a bear if you're not going to kill it" ...

"If we decided from no preparation to doing something in Iran, while it would cause a lot of heartburn among many people in the Pentagon, we could do it.

"I would never underestimate the raw capability of the United States in any off-the-shelf situation. If that's what we decided to do, things can be done."

Desmond Tutu PNG at University of St. Thomas, Ann Coulter Welcomed

Alchemical transmutation is readily apparent where a university named after St. Thomas Aquinas rejects Desmond Tutu who upholds just war doctrine and welcomes Ann Coulter who upholds the Talmudic law of the jungle. And the insanity is readily apparent where Judaics are encouraged in their warmongering while those who criticize them are discredited. It has become a greater crime to hurt Judaic feelings than it is to drop bombs on apartment buildings, bulldoze homes, assassinate children, and cut off basic human needs of Palestinians. "University of St. Thomas"! What a joke! Call it what it is: The University Run By Groveling Philo-Judaics.

St. Thomas won't host Tutu

By Randy Furst, Star Tribune

October 04, 2007

A plan to invite Desmond Tutu to speak at the University of St. Thomas next year was scuttled by university officials who did not want to offend the Jewish community over the Nobel Peace Prize laureate's views on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, university officials confirmed Wednesday.

In addition, Cris Toffolo, an associate professor who supported inviting the South African archbishop and activist was removed as director of the St. Paul university's justice and peace studies program in August.

She remains on the faculty.

Tutu's visit will be shifted to Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, according to a local group that had planned to bring him to St. Thomas.

Doug Hennes, vice president for university and government relations at St. Thomas, said the Rev. Dennis Dease, St. Thomas' president, made the final decision not to invite Tutu after consulting with his staff.

"He [Tutu] has been critical of Israel and Israeli policy regarding the Palestinians, so we talked with people in the Jewish community and they said they believed it would be hurtful to the Jewish community, because of things he's said," Hennes said ...

Benedict Praises St. Cyril of Alexandria

Continuing with Benedict's series of talks on the Church Fathers, the latest talk addressing Church Doctor, St. Cyril of Alexandria:

Today, continuing our journey in the footsteps of the Fathers of the Church, we meet a great figure: St. Cyril of Alexandria. Linked to the Christological controversy that led to the Council of Ephesus in 431, and the last noteworthy representative of the Alexandrian tradition, Cyril was later defined in the East as the “custodian of accuracy” -- in other words, a guardian of the true faith -- and even the “seal of all the Fathers."

These ancient expressions manifest something that is, in fact, characteristic of Cyril, that is, the constant references the bishop of Alexandria makes to preceding ecclesiastical authorities -- including, above all, Athanasius -- with the goal of showing the continuity of his own theology with tradition.

Cyril took care to ensure that his theology was firmly situated within the tradition of the Church, by which he sees the guarantee of continuity with the Apostles and with Christ himself ...

If only the same could be said for Benedict. Instead we hear praises for St. Cyril's orthodoxy out of one side of Benedict's mouth and the most heterodox theological speculations imaginable out of the other. Let us consider St. Cyril's approach to religious relations with the "Jews" in contrast to that of Benedict XVI:

[St. Cyril] drove out of Alexandria the Jews, who had formed a flourishing community there since Alexander the Great. But they had caused tumults and had massacred the Christians, to defend whom Cyril himself assembled a mob. This may have been the only possible defence, since the Prefect of Egypt, Orestes, who was very angry at the expulsion of the Jews was also jealous of the power of Cyril, which certainly rivaled his own. Five hundred monks came down from Nitria to defend the patriarch. In a disturbance which arose, Orestes was wounded in the head by a stone thrown by a monk named Ammonius. The prefect had Ammonius tortured to death, and the young and fiery patriarch honoured his remains for a time as those of a martyr. The Alexandians were always riotous as we learn from Socrates (VII, vii) and from St. Cyril himself (Hom. for Easter, 419). (Catholic Encyclopedia, St. Cyril of Alexandria)

It should also be mentioned that St. Cyril of Alexandria lived during the time that the emperor Julian made a project of rebuilding the Temple in Jerusalem in an attempt to overturn Christianity. The plan ended in failure and various historians from that period record that this was due to supernatural intervention. Needless to say, St. Cyril was no supporter of this early Zionist movement.

War in Iran a Laughing Matter for Zionist Hillary

I have a bad feeling that this psychopath, Hillary Clinton is the Zionists' pick for U.S. President.

Seymour Hersh says that Zionist cash accounts for Hillary's mocking smugness:

... AMY GOODMAN: Sy Hersh, I wanted to switch gears for the last question, and this has to do with it not just being Republicans who are sounding a drumbeat for war. The three leading Democratic presidential candidates -- Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards -- have all declared no options off the table. This is a clip from last week’s Democratic debate. It was the day the Senate approved a controversial resolution calling on the State Department to designate the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization. At the debate, Democratic presidential hopeful Mike Gravel bitterly criticized Hillary Clinton for voting in favor.

MIKE GRAVEL: This is fantasy land. We're talking about ending the war. My god, we’re just starting a war right today. There was a vote in the Senate today. Joe Lieberman, who authored the Iraq resolution, has authored another resolution, and it is essentially a fig leaf to let George Bush go to war with Iran. And I want to congratulate Biden for voting against it, Dodd for voting against it, and I’m ashamed of you, Hillary, for voting for it. You're not going to get another shot at this, because what’s happened, if this war ensues, we invade, and they're looking for an excuse to do it. And Obama was not even there to vote.

TIM RUSSERT: Senator Clinton, I want to give you a chance to respond.

AMY GOODMAN: That was Hillary Clinton laughing. Fifteen seconds, Seymour Hersh. Your response?

SEYMOUR HERSH: Money. A lot of the Jewish money from New York. Come on, let's not kid about it. A significant percentage of Jewish money, and many leading American Jews support the Israeli position that Iran is an existential threat. And I think it’s as simple as that. When you’re from New York and from New York City, you take the view of -- right now, when you’re running a campaign, you follow that line. And there’s no other explanation for it, because she’s smart enough to know the downside.

AMY GOODMAN: And Obama and Edwards?

SEYMOUR HERSH: I -- you know, it’s shocking. It’s really surprising and shocking, but there we are. That’s American politics circa 2007.

AMY GOODMAN: Seymour Hersh, thank you very much for being with us, a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist. His piece in the New Yorker is called “Shifting Targets: The Administration’s Plan for Iran.”

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) lays her hands on the stones of Jerusalem's Western Wall Nov. 14, 2005.

Clinton gets boost from rabbi poll, calls for undivided Jerusalem

By Ron Kampeas | Published 09/15/2007 | World News |

... Despite the stepped-up challenges from Obama and Giuliani, a recent poll of 200 rabbis from all of the major denominations named [Hillary Clinton] as the presidential candidate most supportive of Israel and Jewish causes.

According to the survey conducted by a synagogue innovation and leadership organization called STAR, Synagogues: Transformation and Renewal, Clinton polled highest on the Israel question, at 22 percent, followed by Giuliani at 16 percent and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) at 3 percent.

Clinton also was ranked as most supportive of Jewish causes in America in general with 24 percent, followed again by Giuliani with 10 percent and Obama with 3 percent ...

Skull and Bones Bush's Ideal Crusader

Pentagon Official, Ms. Debra Cagan is claimed to have informed British MP's that she "hates all Iranians."

Here we have the symbolism of the pentagon, the whore/scarlet woman, the hermaphrodite, and the crusader all in one. This is tikkun olam par excellance. This is where humanity is headed under it's current leadership.
