The file on Purim

Maurice Pinay...How did the book of Esther ever be incorporated into the Bible? More specifically the Douy Rheims Catholc Bible. I think Jerome placed Esther into the Bible as also he introduced the term Jehovah as the name of GOD. Was Jerome a Fifth Columnist crypto Jew? Many Zio-Protestants emphatically promulgate the book of Esther as the unseen hand of GOD, yet GOD is never mentioned even once in the book of Esther.

As mentioned earlier, the book of Esther doesn't mention God at all, is never referenced in the New Testament, was categorized as uncanonical by many Church fathers, was nearly forgotten for centuries at a time and officially declared canonical after it's meaning had been entirely spiritualized, mystified and typified in a way that is utterly alien to the subversive, paranoid, bloody, vengeful rabbinic reading which is favored today, even by some Catholics.

St. Jerome studied Hebrew with the rabbis and seemed to pick up some of their ideas. This seems to reflect poor judgement in that area not malice.
