Worthwhile Judeo-Christian dialogue

A fire broke out at the Church of the Multiplication at Tabgha, on the Sea of Galilee, early Thursday in what police suspect was an arson attack...

In an entrance corridor of the building, which is believed by Christians to be the site of Jesus’s miracle of multiplying two fish and five loaves to feed 5,000 people, Hebrew graffiti was found, reading, “the false gods will be eliminated” — a quote from the Aleinu prayer [which is mandatory for Orthodox 'Jews' to pray 3 times daily]. ("Sea of Galilee church where ‘Jesus fed 5,000,’ torched in suspected hate attack," Times of Israel, June 18, 2015)

Was it because the Vatican was about to sign the accord or treaty with Palestine or just the usual?

No, Rabbi Mirvis hasn't commented on the church burning by pious Jews at all to my knowledge.
